“No one said this would be easy,
just know that nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment.”
Stop Killing Your Motivation
Yup. There’s only 3 words that are killing your motivation and separating you from success and stopping you from living the life you were created to live.
Those 3 simple words are:
3. (And) Worry
The Doubtful Truth
So, what’s the doubtful truth?
That doubt is simply a feeling of uncertainty. It occurs anytime we feel out-of-sync with our goals and our life’s purpose.
When we start to doubt what we can and can’t do — think along the lines of your desires, goals, and dreams — that’s when the weeds in our mind start to take over and reap havoc on our beliefs (at least the ones that we’re not 100% committed towards. More on that in another post…)
Fear is the second instant killer to motivation and inspiration.
When fear creeps into our thinking it has the tendency to take over our normal way of functioning. In short, fear squelches our desires from the inside out because — like it or not — that’s what it’s designed to do.
Yet, as the great philosopher, Jim Morrison has this to add when it comes to being free from fear:
“Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.”
Don’t Worry, Be Happy
Although it’s not necessary to replace worry with happiness — while doing so certainly wouldn’t hurt; what is important to know is that worry is the main culprit of emotional unrest that we’re feeling.
When worry is the active ingredient it becomes increasingly difficult for positive emotions (such as faith, courage, and belief) to truly set in and take hold of our lives.
Tips to Grow By
So, what’s the solution?
Answer: Rid yourself of any and all beliefs (doubt, fear, worry) that no longer serve you.
As simple as it sounds, doing so will make a world of difference in your life and your ability to consciously create the kind of life you truly want.
